Did you see my post yesterday where I made authentic Tom Yum Goong?  Don't speak Thai?  Well then, I made Hot and Sour soup, and it was glorious.  I also may have made my own Roasted Chili Paste (Nam Prik Pao) from scratch.  Some people say this means I am hardcore.  Maybe I am... Or maybe I am just in search of authenticity.  Either way be sure to check out my full post on Foodbuzz, and if you like it, vote for me in the second round of Project Food Blog here!  I am so excited to be participating in Project Food Blog and I appreciate your support.  Thanks for reading!

My favorite posts are a toss-up between the Dense, Dark Chocolate ice cream and the White Chocolate Cake with Apricot filling. I've yet to make either, but the recipes are printed and just waiting for the right occasion!

  12. Hi there! :) Just a friendly reminder that voting for my PFB entry does not qualify you for the giveaway, and likewise, to enter the giveaway you are not obligated to vote in PFB. The two are unrelated other than showing up here in the same post.

I would obviously love your PFB vote, but please do not think I am bribing anyone here. I only want your vote if you think I deserve it, and you love my post.

Thats my 2 cents. Enjoy the afternoon, and keep posting comments for the giveaway! :D

  16. This is actually a no-brainer for me! Recipe that my fave to make - (only because it's soooooooo easy and I have been making it religiously since I first tried it) Lemony white bean and tomato salad with dill. Favorite to actually eat? Definitely the salted caramel cake and/or ice cream. Mmmmmmm!

  17. Hi A! I'd like to contribute my entry of your recipe(s) I would most like to try: Spiced Lemon Cilantro Chicken Soup, and Double Chocolate Cupcakes...

On a side note, while I was perusing your recipe index, I also was amused to find that you had made the Jacques Torres chocolate chip cookies (my fave!). I know it's been a few months since then, but I also saw in that post that you had made my cookies in a jar (yay! :-), and I wanted to share with you that they are, in fact, one in the same! I don't know if I've mentioned it to you since then, but my cookies in a jar were a scaled down version of the NYT recipe... So I'm glad my cookies comforted you, and now you know their secret too! ;-)

    Hugs,
